Studio Ember LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates Bills io, available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

The App
Bills io was built from the ground up with privacy in mind. We do not operate any servers or databases for the app. All bill and account data you enter is stored exclusively in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit framework. We have no access to your app data — if you delete it, we cannot recover it.
In-App Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat (privacy policy). RevenueCat is configured to use anonymous user IDs and is used solely for managing purchases — no personally identifiable information is linked to your purchases on our end.
Third-Party Frameworks
Bills io uses the following open-source libraries:
- FaviconFinder — fetches favicons for bill entries
- SwiftSoup — HTML parsing
- RevenueCat — in-app purchases
None of these frameworks collect or transmit your personal data to us.
This Website
Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, session duration, referring source, device and browser type, and approximate geographic region (country/city level). IP addresses are anonymized. We use this data solely to improve the site and do not sell it or use it for advertising.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's opt-out browser add-on. For more information, see Google's privacy policy.
Beta Interest Form
The upcoming features page includes an optional form to express interest in beta access. If you submit that form, your email address is collected and stored by Formspree (privacy policy). We use submitted emails only to contact you about beta access and will not share them with third parties.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, indicated by the updated date at the top. Continued use of the app or website after changes constitutes acceptance.
